About Us & The Role

The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus – the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel. 

Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, including the Eurovision Song Contest last year and in 2024, we will host Labour Party Conference in addition to a packed programme of entertainment and business events.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Maintenance Operative with a strong background in Building Services. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings:

- Joinery and door furniture

- Building fabric repairs such as patch plastering

- Painting and decorating

- Plumbing and sanitary fittings

- Roofing systems

- Flooring and ceiling Systems

- Drainage and associated systems

- Basic electrical knowledge

 

ACC Liverpool also have a comprehensive PPM regime which the successful candidate will be expected to participate in.

There will also be a requirement to be involved in the mark out of spaces for Exhibition builds and assisting the FME’s with installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for our event programme.

The successful candidate will be expected to monitor the work carried out by service partners and must have an excellent working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations and work within these.

Experience in the development and completion of risk assessments, work permits and procedures for facility maintenance activities is essential along with a good working knowledge of energy saving initiatives and schemes.
